What do we do?

Virginia’s HIRE VETS NOW is a statewide initiative launched in the Spring of 2018. The program brings together transitioning service members, veterans, military spouses and dedicated businesses to share in camaraderie, professional development and career networking.

Monthly networking events are held on military installations to expand opportunities for transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses to gain access to career openings with Virginia Values Veterans (V3) employers and Chamber members.

Who Are We?

These programs are hosted by the Virginia Chamber Foundation, Virginia Department of Veterans Services and Transition Assistance Offices on Virginia military installations.

The Virginia Chamber’s Military and Veterans Affairs Executive Committee leads the Chamber’s development and implementation of Blueprint Virginia 2030 policy recommendations to ensure Virginia is the best state in the nation for our military families.

The Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS) connects Virginia’s veterans and their families to federal and state benefits, support, quality care, and recognition they have earned.

The Virginia Veterans Services Foundation is an independent agency of the Commonwealth supporting the interests of veterans and their families through the Secretary of Veterans and Defense Affairs and is governed by an appointed Board of Trustees.
