The HIRE VETS NOW program offers Virginia Values Veterans (V3) certified employers an exclusive opportunity to connect with highly skilled transitioning service members, veterans, reservists, and military spouses. Hosted on military installations across Virginia, these events are designed to bridge the gap between military service and civilian employment by creating a direct pathway for veterans to connect with employers who value their experience and leadership skills.
Here’s how you can participate:
1. Be a V3-Certified Employer
Your company must be certified under the Commonwealth’s Virginia Values Veterans (V3) program. This free program is designed to assist businesses in hiring and retaining veterans, and offers various benefits, including exclusive access to HIRE VETS NOW events. Connect with the V3 team to learn more and become V3-certified.
2. Request Your Invitation to HIRE VETS NOW events
Invitations to participate in HIRE VETS NOW events are extended to certified V3 employers. If your company is V3 certified, submit your request to receive an invitation by clicking here.
3. Register for Events
Once you receive your invitation, you can select events you would like to attend in the linked registration form. Tables at these events are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to register early. View 2025 calendar of events.
Priority Registration for V3 Employers
V3 employers who stay current on submitting their V3 Hiring Reports will be given priority for future event registrations, ensuring they have the best chance to secure a spot at upcoming events.
Event Details
HIRE VETS NOW events are hosted in partnership with the installation TAP Offices, the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, and the Virginia Chamber Foundation. These events are a valuable chance to connect directly with service members, veterans, and military spouses who are eager to apply their military training and skills to civilian roles.

No Cost to Attend: Participation is free for V3 employers.
First-Come, First-Served: Tables at events fill quickly, so be sure to register early.
